SHE golfs chose beautiful Queenstown as the destination for our recent SHE golfs holiday. SHE spent 7 days and 6 nights in this stunning location, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and iconic golf courses.
The ladies settled in to their luxury, single accommodation at Millbrook Resort and, later in the week, moved to the Hotel St Moritz in the heart of Queenstown for a different view of this lovely town.
Golf was, of course, the highlight: each day began with private lessons for our ladies with Millbrook's golf pro Ben Gallie. SHE host Rhonda Norman commented: "Ben changed two things about my grip and it’s made a world of difference to my game. And that’s just on day one!”.
The weather was perfect for our ladies: crisp mornings, cool nights, and the rain held off. The views didn't disappoint: "every corner a picture postcard!".
Afternoon's were spent wandering the grounds of the Resort, relaxing, or discovering the beautiful village of Arrowtown. This part of the world is rich in local history and charm. The ladies sampled the local produce and wines over dinners in some of the regions best restaurants and cafes, sharing stories of golf, and of life.
Early morning yoga and stretching sessions with the wonderful Rachel Land helped the ladies' movement to flow more easily for their morning golf clinic. Lessons continued on the Driving Range, working on long game, new swings, and fixing bad habits!
At the end of another lovely day, and a round of golf, it was time to indulge in spa treatments at the stunning Eforea Spa at the Hilton Queenstown. A massage, facial, and relaxing time in the sauna was a special treat.
In the words of one of our guests, the lovely Penelope-Jane:
"Thank you for such a ‘remarkable’ holiday – top notch! It is difficult to find one highlight – there were so many: the food was excellent, and you struck just the right balance between golf and spare time. A 'magic moment' was standing on the golf course at Millbrook Resort and just being in awe; a memory that will stay with me for ever. Very well planned and thoroughly enjoyable – I shall hope to see you next year."
